 Sanne Vloet: A Comprehensive Biography of the Dutch Model and Entrepreneur

Early Life and Background

Sanne Vloet was born on March 10, 1995, in Winterthur, Switzerland, to Dutch parents. She spent part of her early childhood in Marondera, Zimbabwe, where her parents worked in a hospital, before moving to the Netherlands at the age of five. She grew up in Donkerbroek, a village in the province of Friesland, Netherlands. ​

From a young age, Sanne was involved in gymnastics and aspired to become a professional gymnast. At the age of 14, while auditioning for the television talent show "Holland's Got Talent," she was discovered by a modeling scout. With the support of her mother, who often accompanied her to Amsterdam for photo shoots and castings, Sanne began her modeling career. ​

Modeling Career

Sanne's modeling career took off after she moved to Paris following high school. At 18, she began traveling internationally for modeling assignments. Her breakthrough came in 2014 when she walked for Oscar de la Renta at New York Fashion Week. ​

She has since walked the runway for numerous high-profile designers, including Chanel, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Marchesa, Ralph Lauren, and many others. Sanne gained widespread recognition for her appearances in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows from 2015 to 2017, held in New York City, Paris, and Shanghai. ​

In addition to runway work, Sanne has been featured in advertising campaigns for brands such as Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors, and Calvin Klein's cK One. She has also graced the covers and pages of international fashion magazines, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Allure, Elle, Interview, and V Magazine. ​

Entrepreneurial Ventures

Beyond modeling, Sanne has ventured into entrepreneurship. In 2017, she launched her YouTube channel, where she shares content related to fitness, nutrition, skincare, and lifestyle. ​

She co-founded Nekohama, a matcha brand, with her husband Max Ando-Hirsh. Additionally, she runs Soul Sync Body, a wellness platform that offers fitness and nutrition guidance. ​

Personal Life

Sanne is fluent in both Dutch and English. She currently resides in New York City with her husband, Max Ando-Hirsh. ​

She maintains an active presence on social media, with over 900,000 followers on Instagram and 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube.
